For the Featured OC: Misuki Contest at FeaturedOCs of Sylveon17's OC, Misuki!

In short, she's a half-deer, half-human young woman who is very in tune with nature and a gentle, sweet personality.  I tried to portray this with a lush forest background and a demure but cheerful pose.

I first did a rough sketch on paper, scanned it in, and lined it in Paint Shop Pro 7, and then colored and shaded it in the same.  I used airbrushing for the background elements so to put less emphasis on them, and also to give them a kind of glowy effect (though I'm not sure how that turned out 9_9 ).  I actually intended to allow myself more time doing this piece, considering the initial deadline is late July, but I guess I got impatient
